People Highlights

Ashish Chicksena, a key member of SI’s Leadership Team, has been honoured with the CSR & Sustainability Excellence Award 2025, presented by the Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade (GCPIT) in the Global Confluence Summit held on December 5–6 at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru.

A regular runner, Sukanya, participated in the annual Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata 2025 in the Open 10K category, and successfully completed her run with a timing of 01:21:46.

Reeta presented a poster on the good practice of implementing a first-of-its-kind plan for invasive species management for a large infrastructure project (Upper Trishuli 1 HEP) on 12-13 December, 2025 at the National Conference on Invasive Alien Species Management, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

Recently, Paromit co-authored a study highlighting the possibility of two native squirrel species turning invasive on Indian agro-ecosystems in the near future, published in the peer-reviewed journal, Biology.

Our team, led by Ankan, participated in “AI in Agriculture: Transforming India’s Krishi Landscape,” a pre-summit event of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at STPI, Kolkata. The forum brought together policymakers, scientists, and technologists to explore AI innovations in agriculture and real-world AI/ML deployment. Our participation underscores our commitment to responsible, data-driven AI for sustainability-critical sectors.
We run an internal learning sessions program for SI Family with the goal of cross-fertilising knowledge, enable sharing of real-life experiences and discussing service innovation with senior experts from the sustainability and digital spaces.
